Penelope is one of the three foundation does of Duagwyn, and matriarch of the Blue House; all goats that wear a blue collar here are her descendants. She is my heaviest milker, joining the half-ton club in 2019. When given a year off from breeding, she milks right through. I don’t know how long she’d milk given the opportunity; I had to dry her off at 18 months in 2018, and it took some doing. The girl wants to milk.
Her freshened daughters also have strong production/capacity. Penelope has freshened five times, and looks as strong and well-attached as ever she did.
