Tink is a product of Portiageddon, the final, disastrous kidding of her dam, Portia. She was all of a pound and a half at birth, and remains a compact goat in maturity, even for this miniature breed. That said, she delivered triplets with ease in the spring of 2020, and earned her dairy star on her first freshening with a single kid.
She was the dark horse among the first fresheners at the 2019 linear appraisal, as I had thought she might be. She is a quiet, unassuming girl…and bears watching.
Tink is getting the 2021-22 breeding season off.
